Elliot was waiting at the park as he waited for a certain lovable disaster. He perks up as he spotted Jason who was, as always, covered in paint. “Hey there my lovely artist~” Elliot beams as Jason blushes a bit.

“Hi Elliot..” Jason smiles shyly. Elliot moves closer and wraps his arms around Jason waist with a grin. Jason blushes more. “S..so um, what do you have planned?” Elliot perks up before taking Jason’s hand.

“It’s a surprise but you’ll love it I promise!” Elliot beams at him. Jason flushes slightly but smiles and nods as he allows Elliot to lead him away. Along the way, Elliot told him a few jokes. “What do you call a nosy pepper?” Elliot grins at Jason.

“What?”

“Jalapeño business.” Jason snorts and giggles. Elliot beams at the sound before beginning another one. “What did the big bucket say to the little one?” Jason giggles.

“What?”

“Looking a little pail there.” Jason laughs and it was like music to Elliot ears. Thus he kept making jokes making Jason laugh more and more. They soon arrived at their destination. Jason gasps softly as he look at the field. It was a remote area surrounded by woods with a lake nearby. Elliot smiles softly and leads Jason to the picnic he laid out.

“Gorgeous…” Jason whispers softly. Elliot watches him in awe as the light hits Jason perfectly.

“Yeah..absolutely gorgeous.” He murmurs softly. Jason looks over at Elliot with a bright smile before realizing he was staring. Jason blushes brightly. “Simply..breathtaking..” Elliot whispers making Jason blushes more.

“Elliot..”

Elliot snaps out of his trance. “Yes buttercup?” He smiles brightly and wraps an arm around Jason. Jason huffs and smiles shyly leaning against him.

“This..is amazing.. Thank you..” Jason whispers softly Elliot smiles softly and sits down with him.

“Anytime..” He replies as he handed Jason a sandwich drinking some grape soda himself. Jason leans against him as he ate quietly. Elliot smiles happily before getting a mischievous grin. “Are you a fruit, because Honeydew you know how fine you look right now?” He asks casually. Jason chokes slightly and blushes turning to face him.

“Elliot-” He begins before Elliot cuts him off.

“Even if there wasn’t gravity on earth, I’d still fall for you.” Jason starts stuttering as Elliot moves closer causing him to blush more. “Do you drink Pepsi? Because you’re so-da-licious!~” Elliot purrs with a smirk. Jason snorts and giggles softly.

“Are you a campfire? Cause you are hot and I want s’more..” Jason smiles hesitantly. Elliot pauses before blushing.

“Oh my gods, I love you.” Elliot whispers making Jason blush but slowly wraps his arms around Elliot’s neck and pulling him closer.

“J..just shut up and kiss me.” Jason mumbles before Elliot presses his lips against Jason’s. It was soft and gentle almost hesitant. Elliot gently pulls Jason’s closer. Jason breaks the kiss almost in a daze. “I..”

“Damn.” Elliot pants softly licking his lips. “You taste like vanilla.” Jason blinks before giggling.

“You are the first person to tell me that. Most say I taste like gunsmoke.” Elliot shrugs and holds Jason closer.

“Nah, I taste vanilla, simple and sweet. Just like you.” Jason blushes and hides his face in Elliot’s neck.

“Sh..shut up!” Jason whines making Elliot laugh.

“Look up.” Elliot coaxes. Jason slowly looks up and was awestruck as day shifts to night and fireflies filled the air. Elliot grins as Jason beams at him.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you!” Jason squeals softly kissing all over his face. Elliot laughs softly and kisses his forehead.

“Anything for you, my little artist~” Elliot smirks as Jason flushes.

“I love you.”
