Zabel blinked and frowned. “In Hacky’s past cold, dark rooms were a constant. He hated needs and knives but could always go into self mutilation. ‘Father’ had him in chains and handcuffs. Zabel squealed happily as Aeron watched with disapproval but gave Sarai permission to eat as well. Sarai nervously accepted a sandwich that Zabel gave him.

“W-what? O-oh y-yeah i-it’s fine.” He hid a bit behind Zabel who was eating one of the gummies.

Aeron watched from the couch. Zabel gave Neptune a gummy. Sarai nearly choked on his sandwich.
