Help circulate an artist’s hard work!I’m only rebloging this to let my followers know that THIS WAY OF THINKING DOESN’T CONCERN ALL ARTISTS (INCLUDING ME)
Don’t try to guilt your followers to have reblogs. If you think “likes” means that they hate it, it’s not your followers’fault, it’s your toxic thinking’s.
Everybody says “art isn’t a competition” well guess what, on the internet IT FUCKING IS (against our will or not. But that’s not the topic here.)
It’s part of the roots of this way of thinking. Don’t let your thoughts beeing corrupt by that.
We all have followers (the majority of them, even) that doesn’t even interact with posts, they scroll passed them event if they liked them.
So if someone “liked” your art, they MEAN IT. Did you ever give a note to something you didn’t like ?? NO. THEN ? WHY WOULD OTHERS ??And for those who spent hours and hours of work on their art, and don’t get the reblogs and like they think they deserve:
Success isn’t a thing that you deserve.
Success is just something that happens, or not.It doesn’t actually mean that they don’t like it when your art piece or something something won’t get reblog.
What we get is what we are thankful. Getting likes is the best thing that we could ever receive, at least someone likes it, better than “why is there no likes? Why just reblogs? Do they not like it?”
Getting reblog is cool too. Other people can check on it. That’s what reblog is for, but it doesn’t mean that “people who don’t reblog it means that they hate the piec”
No it doesn’t mean like that. There’s plenty of ways what that particular reblog means. It doesn’t mean they hate the piece.
