Yume and I wave back, “Hey” yume said as he played his game boy
Coder walked over to Yume. “What are you playing?” He asked curiously.
He was mashing the buttons and looked up at Coder, “Wha-?” He seems to have played this level many times. “Just this game called Donkey Kong”
“Oh ok.” Coder sits down watching him play.
The ‘game over’ music began to play, Yume’s clutch on the game was hard, he exhaled heavily. “Do you wanna give it a go?” He asked, already pushing the game boy into Coder’s hands
Coder blinked in surprise. “Oh! Ok!” Coder smiled eager to play any game.
Yume sighed, a bit annoyed, “I haven’t been able to beat this level recently…I have before but it’s not sparking in me…maybe you can?” He propped his hands under his head and watched Coder
“If you can’t do it, then I sure can’t. But I’ll give it a go!” Coder smiled at him before beginning to play the game.
After a while though, the ‘game over’ music began to play. “Oh, I lost!” Coder laughed nervously. “But it was fun!”
Yume had to cover his mouth again, smiling, “G-give it another go, I believe you can do it”
“Alright!” Coder began the game again. He concentrated hard sticking his tongue a bit.
It took a while but eventually Coder managed to beat the level. “I did it!” Coder smiled happily.Yume clapped loud and quickly, “congrats!!! I knew you could do it!!!” He patted Coder on the back
Coder gained a small smile at the praise. “Th-thanks!”
Yume took the game back, turning it off, saving the data of course. “hey, do you wanna grab some lunch with me?”
Coder looked away a bit. “If it’s not a bother to you. Sure!” Coder smiled.
“Its no big deal bro! I’m real hungry and I thought it be nice to treat you, you did beat that level” Yume stood up, stretching his bones out, “Maybe we could get some shakes afterwards”
Coder stood up as well, nodding. “Ok! Thanks a lot! I can never say no to shakes!”
Yume grabbed a hold of Coder, teleporting them to the burger joint around the corner, “Heh, wow, that takes a lot of energy…” He wiped at his head and opened the door for Coder
Coder walked through the door looking around interested. “Wow.”
